Conceptually “Regular Rabbit” challenges our readiness to believe absurd misinformation by deliberately separating visuals from narrative. One does not match the other. It prompts us to question our own gullibility in the face of even the most outrageous claims.

SHORT FILM - Ghost In The Machine

Nature is a delicate machine, we are clogging it up.

'Ghost in The Machine' sees an intricate mechanical fish sculpture come to life, its metal scales undulating like the sea and shining in the light. Peril however, arrives in the form of a swarm of plastic bags that engulf and ultimately seize up the workings of the intricate machine. The film aims to present the audience with the plight of our plastic-filled oceans in a different way to anything they will have seen before. We hope our film triggers the viewer to see ocean pollution again, through new eyes.

H&M - Loop

Kühl & Han was approached by AKQA to help visualize H&M’s “Looop”, the world’s first in-store garment-to-garment recycling system. By breaking down the steps of the recycling process, we directed and designed ten slow paced 3D loops to be displayed on giant screens at the flagship store in Stockholm.

We created the ASMR sounds of threads and fabrics is triggered by costumers as they walk past the screens, creating a holistic immersive experience.

New for Coors with Director Andre Stringer at RESET Content. For this soundtrack to this spectacular film I needed to employ every space changing tool in theLAB (software/hardware) using a combination of IR and digital reverbs with various speaker simulation plugins to create the effect of the music track - The Happy Wanderer by The Stargazers (1954) - being physically played at each location in the edit.

NIKE - Alpha Menace

New collaboration with Director KORB for Nike

I wanted to try a different method to create the sound of aggressive traction for this film. A less abstract approach to the sounds. The shoe has three-prong cleats for the traction you need to accelerate and change direction quickly.

I decided to record impacts and the movement of the the cleats using contact microphones buried in soil and under grass and then edited to picture and processed for the final mix. About 90% of the sounds originated with the contact mic recordings. I augmented the sound with lo frequency layers and some dynamic whoosh motion fx.
